Three new members of LWAP – Walless, Fondia Lithuania and European Energy Lithuania
Three new members have joined the Lithuanian Wind Power Association. Two of them are law firms – Walless and Fondia Lithuania – and the third is European Energy Lithuania, a company involved in developing wind energy projects. The association currently has 26 members.
Walless is a law firm that provides a wide range of legal services. The company specialises in mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, capital markets, financing transactions, real estate and construction, and other areas, including energy law. The Walless team consists of 43 professionals, including 10 partners.
Fondia Lithuania is the largest non-bar law firm in the Nordic and Baltic countries. The company’s lawyers have significant experience in advising participants in the energy market. In total, the company employs more than 110 experienced lawyers. It has repeatedly been recognised by the Financial Times as the most innovative law firm. Fondia Lithuania is also a member of the Finnish Wind Energy Association.
The Danish capital company European Energy A/S, which has already contributed to the development of more than 1200 MW of wind and solar power plants in different countries, has now established a company in Lithuania. Through its long-standing Danish experience, European Energy Lithuania aims to contribute to the achievement of our energy and climate change goals and to strengthen Lithuania’s energy independence. The company is currently planning wind park projects in various locations throughout the country.
The Lithuanian Wind Power Association has been operating since 2005 and has united investors and the suppliers of equipment and services in the field of wind energy.
