Lithuanian Wind Power Association is growing – three new members have joined the association

Three new members have joined the Lithuanian Wind Power Association: the renewable energy holding company E energija, the investment management company Synergy Finance licensed by the Bank of Lithuania and the electricity trading company Axton Commodities. The association currently has 29 members.

E energija is a holding company that manages a group of 31 companies operating in the energy sector in Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine. For 25 years, the E Energija Group has been developing and investing in renewable energy projects, producing heat and electricity from renewable energy sources: biofuels, solar and wind, financing, building and operating heat and electricity generation facilities for business customers. E energija Group has successfully implemented more than 30 MW of wind, 40 MW of solar and 100 MW of biofuel projects. The total capacity of renewable energy projects currently being developed in the Group’s portfolio is over 250 MW.

Synergy Finance, an independent Lithuanian capital investment management company that has been operating successfully for thirteen years, is the third largest company of such kind in Lithuania. The company specializes in investments in infrastructure projects and corporate loans through 12 different types of funds and investment companies currently managed. Working with foreign investors, it attracts capital to alternative energy and other infrastructure projects being developed in the Baltic States. The company also advises entrepreneurs on the formation of a common investment portfolio that would ensure asset diversification and long-term preservation.

The activities of Axton Commodities, a wholesale electricity trading company active in the Scandinavian and Baltic regions, include trading in electricity, emission permits (ETS) and green certificates. The company also provides solar and wind power plant production planning and balancing services. Axton Commodities is part of the Modus Group, which brings together car trading, real estate development and energy companies. Modus Group has been operating in the field of renewable energy since 2006, when the renewable energy company Modus Energy was established, developing biogas and solar energy projects in Lithuania, Poland, Spain and other European countries.

The Lithuanian Wind Power Association has been operating since 2005 and unites investors and suppliers of equipment and services in the field of wind energy.
