The Lithuanian Wind Power Association (LVEA) is growing and is introducing two new members. One of the two is Klaipeda-based company GriJana, the center activity of the company is the quality control of metal structures in the Baltic States. Another one is Fredericia-based, international Danish energy company \u00d8rsted, which core business consists of offshore and onshore wind markets, bioenergy.<\/p>\n
GriJana is Lithuanian private equity company that has been operating since 2012. The specialists of the company carry out audits of metal production, document evaluation, and maintenance of production quality in accordance with the criteria of the standards and contractual specifications and, on request, the management of the production of the project. The company employs specialists of their field whose proficiencies are verified by the International Institute of Welding (IWE\/IWI), TWI Certification Ltd (CSWIP), FROSIO\/SSPC certificates.<\/p>\n
GriJana is a long-term and reliable partner in quality control of many of the world’s largest companies, with projects in Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands and the Philippines. \u00d8rsted is \u00a0global leader in offshore wind development market with 30 years of experience. The company also operates in the onshore wind and bioenergy markets. Currently \u00d8rsted produces green electricity equivalent to the consumption of 15 million people, but the ambition is to increase this number to 30 million by 2025.<\/p>\n
Company\u2019s market-leading position has enabled it to reduce the costs of renewable energy, so new markets and investors are able to see the huge potential of offshore wind as a more profitable, efficient and sustainable alternative to fossil fuels.
