Most of the world's current energy production comes from fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas. However, these resources are limited and their reserves are depleting as consumption increases.<\/span><\/p>

The use of fossil fuels for energy production is harmful to the environment because the burning of these fuels produces greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane.<\/span><\/p>

On the other hand, the current practice leads to a high degree of energy dependence of individual countries on Russia.<\/span><\/p>

For these reasons, the world is increasingly exploiting renewable energy sources such as biomass, hydro, geothermal, solar and wind. Wind energy stands out among the renewable energy sources for its progress and rapid technological development.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Energy from wind:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

– reduces air pollution and the effects of climate change;<\/span><\/p>

– creates new workplaces, boosts regional development, growth and innovation;<\/span><\/p>

– diversifies the energy mix and helps reduce fossil fuel imports;<\/span><\/p>

– contributes to energy security and avoids conflicts over natural resources;<\/span><\/p>

– protects against fluctuating fossil fuel prices;<\/span><\/p>

– is quick to install;<\/span><\/p>

– wind energy sources are renewable and therefore inexhaustible;<\/span><\/p>

– the amount of wind as an energy source is globally greater than global energy needs.<\/span><\/p>

Renewable energy, especially wind, is now a significant part of the energy sector in advanced developed countries. Recognising the advantages of this type of resource, in particular its renewable nature and environmental friendliness, these countries are making every effort to promote the development and further progress of renewable energy.<\/span><\/p>
